This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs use of Advisor OS ("Platform"). By using Advisor OS, you agree to comply.
1. Permitted Use
Advisor OS is intended for legitimate business use by technology advisors.
You may:
- Manage and analyze client data
- Use AI features to generate insights and automation
- Operate workflows for your business
2. Prohibited Use
You may NOT:
Illegal / Harmful
- Violate laws or regulations
- Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
AI Abuse
- Run excessive or automated AI queries that degrade system performance
- Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or stress test AI systems
Data Misuse
- Upload data you do not have rights to
- Process sensitive data without proper consent
Security Violations
- Attempt to bypass limits, authentication, or protections
3. AI Usage & Responsibility
Advisor OS uses third-party AI providers.
By using AI features:
- Outputs may not always be accurate
- You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use
- AI should not be relied on for critical decisions without human validation
4. Fair Use Policy (AI & System Resources)
Your subscription includes reasonable, standard business usage of AI and system resources.
Included Usage (Standard Plan - $200/mo)
Plans are designed for up to 3 users and approximately 100 active clients. Accounts significantly exceeding typical usage may require an upgrade to Advisor OS Pro.
- Designed for typical advisor workflows
- Covers normal client parsing, enrichment, and light AI usage
Examples of acceptable usage:
- Parsing and analyzing client records
- Occasional AI insights per client
- Light automation workflows
5. Excessive Usage & Limits
Usage is considered excessive if it:
- Significantly exceeds typical advisor behavior
- Impacts system performance or cost structure
- Includes high-frequency automation or repeated AI calls at scale
We reserve the right to:
- Throttle or rate limit usage
- Temporarily suspend AI features
- Require upgrade to a higher-tier plan
6. Advisor OS Pro (AI Enhanced Tier)
For users requiring higher AI usage, Advisor OS offers an upgraded plan:
Advisor OS Pro (AI Enhanced)
Designed for:
- High-volume client processing
- Frequent AI queries or automation
- Power users and teams
Includes:
- Increased AI usage limits
- Priority processing
- Enhanced performance for automation workflows
Additional fees apply.
7. Overage & Upgrade Enforcement
If your usage exceeds standard plan limits:
- You may be prompted to upgrade to Advisor OS Pro
- Continued excessive usage without upgrade may result in restricted access
We reserve the right to enforce usage limits to maintain platform stability and fairness.
8. Enforcement
Violation of this Policy may result in:
- Immediate suspension of AI features
- Account suspension or termination
9. Changes
We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use = acceptance.
